Pay Attention and Practice Solidarity?

In this episode we discovered that developing the skill and strength to handle  ad hominems when they are directed toward you requires the ability to recognize and avoid ad hominems, and hardest of all, to resist retaliation. The suggestions you'll find in the downloadable Crosswalk guide will involve character traits like diligence to learn, humility to absorb ad hominems, and courage to resist retaliation.

I've spent years developing a program called "Ways to Improve Your Character...and Everything Else" made up of modules that focus on each of twelve fundamental character traits individually. You can learn about that program by clicking on the program title above. Or you can jump straight to learning about the individual modules for diligence, humility, and courage by scrolling down this page and checking the explanatory videos for each.
One of the greatest gifts you can give to other people is to be diligent. They're counting on you to come through on your promises and responsibilities. When you don't, they get left hanging. Imagine how much more positive impact you'll have when you become more diligent. I've got a bunch of exercises for you that will help.
The common view of humility is really messed up. People go at it completely opposite from the way true humility works. Watch the videos and go through the exercises and you'll approach humility the right way. Then ironically you'll wind up feeling really good about yourself even as you're making other people feel way better about themselves, too.
Courage vies for supremacy among the character traits, because most of the time making good choices requires facing challenges or difficulties that tempt us to shy away. You can't go wrong practicing courage. I'll show you how.
